I love St.Patrick's Day. Mainly, because I love green and I can wear all green, all day without people looking at me funny. Does anyone else like St. Patrick's Day for this or any other reason?

george p, I know it's just a day, but it means a lot to many people.
I'm not even Irish and I love the idea of the day and spirit that is around on that day.
Don't be so down on it.

Yes. Its a fun day for those of Irish heritage to celebrate and wear green and sport buttons that say "kiss me I'm Irish",and drink greenbeer. Top of the mornin' to ya.

I love to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, to me theres nothing like it. I love celebrating my heritage with all the parades,and food and drink ; ). Also its not St. Patrick's Day without my grandmothers Irish Soda Bread ,its the best in the world.

Ya I like it but it wouldn't fase me if it didn't exist. I'm not Irish so I guess that's why. I don't drink beer either so green beer is out for me. I do like an Irish jig dinner though. Yum..............My favorite Holiday would always be Christmas.

Some people like it if they're Irish. My husband is almost full Irish and he likes to celebrate it every year.

it is sort of a fun day. When I was a kid and I was walking home from school, I used to really look for leprachuns on that day. I thought they could lead me to the end of the rainbow for a pot of gold!
