It's this young woman, 22 years old with 2 kids, just like me. Everytime I say something I've done something or about to do something she always try to make her situation or doings better than mine. For example: I said I went to the mall today and bought my baby some boots, a coat, and about 5 outfits to start off for winter. She says I already bought my baby all his clothes, I bought him 3 pair of timerland boots, 2 coats, 12 outfits and blah blah blah. Another example: I have to go and order something out of the catolog for my baby, she says I order out of this (certain) catalog. Knowling she doesn't!!!!! We'll go to the store together. I go in there to get one thing, she goes in there and buy several items and calls me cheap. (Well I don't live with momma and daddy). I stay alone with bills and rent. I'll say my baby want drink that much water, she'll say my baby drinks water all day; especially bottled water. So what!! I wanna say.

Facades of Truth

Truth has so many facades!

How often I wish I had more insight
More insight into the working of the world.
Not the physical but human one.

Long brought up on the notion of superiority
Superiority of the American civil
and social Administration
I got a jolt,
jolt of “Ladenic” proportion.
When the “New Orleans” disaster occurred.

For what I saw was unbelievable
Nay an ‘out-of-world’ sight for me.
For I saw before me not the America of my imagination
But horribly divided, seemingly third world nation.

Children, women, men
Dying unattended for days!

Truth they say is bitter
And bitter indeed it is –
The realisation that the global policeman
Is sheltering thieves in its own house.

Besides using the Bill of Rights as toilet paper, some of his hobbies include "amending" the constitution to fit a very narrow Christian view, being arrogantly ignorant, taking a lot of vacations, and violating the Geneva Conventions (violating people's human rights the constitution of our country stands for). How is this not enough for impeachment? Watergate pales in comparrison to Bush's terrorism programs (i.e. the Patriot Act, his "interpretations" of the Geneva Concventions). I mean I guess I'm a little old fashioned but I kind of like the whole humane treatment of even our enemies thing, it shows a higher moral standard than they show us. Why don't people see that he isn't doing anything righteous, just sinking to their level? To so many people over there Americans can rightly be called terrorists.

My Grandfather moved here (Canada) in 1910ish and I was wondering if anyone has any info on where I would be able to find out if there are any family there.

My Grandfathers name was Alain M. Hemery born 1900.
