My sister attends Penn State and she found 1 room that was available for rent, but she called the renter today and he said whoever he recieved an application/$275 deposit from first would get the room. I am also in college at Bowie State, and if there are any extra funds left on my bill after everything has been covered by loans or other financial aid then they send me a refund check for the extra funds. This year I was offered a PLUS loan, but did not accept it thinking that I would not need it, but now it turns out that I probably will need it and will be in debt by the end of this year. My classes also started 8/28, and I am not even there yet because I am out of state. As if all of this were not bad enough, my sister had ME to loan her the $275 for her room deposit today, then she paid $15 to ship it overnight to the renter. But then later today she found out that someone else already got the room. So now I am out of $275, and my sister is out of $15 and still has nowhere to stay.

I go out and buy most of my X-mas and B-day gifts and wrap them...Dad and Hubby have little time to get stuff and are not sure where to look. I appercaite the money I get to go out and but the stuff but its rather depressing wrapping and opening my own crap.Theres no suprise. No cake and no get together. I try to do that for the rest of the fam. Am I the only one who has this? Thanks for your input!

I really like this guy and I cant go for an hour without thinking of him. He is really nice and cute and funny, but he is 2 yrs older than me. Ok...daughter came to me yesterday said everytime she got up in school yesterday, her panties and crotch felt wet...she has not had her period yet (she's 12)...tonight she's complaining of her crotch itching miserably, also her bum-hole...says discharge has vinegar-y smell...anyone know what's up? I do not get to bed until 1-2am then have to wake up at 4:30am to get the up for work and school. The minute I get up I make the coffee, my husbands lunch, and my daughters breakfast. I spend 30mn. getting them to even get out of bed. The minute they leave I start the daily chores. I may get an hour nap. This depends on whether I have other things I need to take care of. Instead of a Thank you, or even realizing that I do this, They do everything in their power to find and point out something I didn't do right! How can I get them to realize what they are doing wrong? How can I make them realize how they make me feel when they can't point out the things I do right? It makes me look like I am the one who is mental and crazy, when I know that all it is is I want to be appreciated. CAN SOME PLEASE TELL HOW?

I always had personal conviction of trying to be nice and kind to people at all times, especially people in need of help. By following that conviction, I participated in volunteering activities, always tried to never refuse people's favor unless it is an emergency and just treat everyone with kindness and respect.
Recently a person who are familiar with me told me, "You need to be more selfish. Learn when to refuse people's favors. You need to be more greedy by asking more, desiring more. You also need to be jealous when people are ahead of you. By doing so, you will be able to succeed."
It is certainly true that I have yet to reach success at 24 years of age. What he said made me reflect on my life.
Do you agree with his statement? What do you suggest I change in my life?

I live in a court. It's ran by an assocation. The b*tch (president) has never acted as a mediator. She is determined to choose sides. And there's nothing the police can do since it's private property. There are usually three 16 yr olds with multiple basketballs pounding on the asphalt in front of my house. I've seen them in my driveway, blocking it multiple times. They have hit both my vehicles several times. This usually persists for an entire afternoon every other day. This horrible noise can be heard throughout my entire house; it's like a jackhammer. The teenager's father thinks it's great. He actually partakes in the festivities and does so with some of the older guys in the court. It's really pissing me off. I'm being singled out. Should I just up and move? It seems like the only solution. Just because one asshole kid and his friends want to harass me, it's going to cause all this upheavel. GAHHH!
