It seems to me that even innocent qestions or remarks are now taken as "racist". Everyone seems so uptight about all of this now. And I don't think the Govt helps by their recent acts on Religious Hatred which imo is a restriction on religious freedom. Why should I not be free to say that

I read recently in the Sentencing Project about half the states have some version of 3 strikes and you're out, which is really determinate sentencing for habitual offenders. However, California had some 40,000 people in prison for 2nd and 3rd strikes, which was by far the greatest number of prisoners under 3 strikes laws. The second state had fewer than 1000 state prisoners. The reason is that California allows the third offense to be any felony and in some cases (known as wobblers), a misdemeanor crime can be turned into a felony if the justice system so deems.
In a few cases, men who had two or more previous felonies but who were caught stealing golf clubs, cookies and videos were sentenced to 25 years to life (one was 50 to life) for the third offense. This seems extremely punitive, and these 3 strikes cases is one reason the state prison system has a federal special master who overlooks the prisons. Some believe the feds are about to take over due to severe over-crowding.

i posted the first question in a hurry with some REALLY bad math. so here we go again. Can you help me find the name of a golden glove boxer/pro baseball player that was murdered around 1963?
i was adopted. i recently recieved information about my birth mother. nothing is known about the father. the only way i can find out her name is by signing up with a registery and hoping she does the same. however it does say that 16 days before she was born her father was murdered. it also says he was a pro baseball player and a golden gloves boxer. i was born in 1981 and it says she was 18. if anyone can help i would appreciate it. i figured with this info it wouldnt be too hard. but google isnt helping me all that much. i dont have a personal computer so it is hard for me to research all that much. thank you for your time. oh yeah he was white.

A Christian ministry wishes to acquire another Christian ministry. Both are 501(c)(3) organizations. The acquired ministry is to become a division of the acquiring ministry and the Founder of the acquired ministry will be made an employee of that division. Can the Founder of the acquired ministry legally "sell" his ministry to the other, rather than just being acquired by contract and merging it in as a new division? My accountant thinks not, but I'd like a second opinion. If a 501(c)(3) were sold then obviously someone would have to pocket the proceeds. My accountant says that would be a violation of the 501(c)(3) prohibitions on personal inurement. True or no?

He told me that the Vatican had a research which confirmed that Jesus never laughed.. The basis was that laughter comes when something funny & unexpected happen.. Jesus knew everything overhand, so he smiled in his life, but never actually laughed!

well all my life i have been taught that jesus was gods son.
ive even thought that maybe jesus was in heaven when god created earth. god said:let us(US) make man in our image.
obviously god wasnt alone.
but muslims believe that jesus was a prophet..yes the messiah too. he will come back. but not gods actuall son.
maybe its like all of us....we are gods children, but not genetically so to speak.
god did make mary concieve with child(jesus) but maybe he was 100% human.
he was the chosen one. the bible never says that we must beleive he is gods son to be saved...but we must believe in jesus.
i do!!!! 100% i do.
and even when john the baptist was baptising jesus..heaven opened god said: this is my son whom iam well pleased.
well so, maybe he is like gods adopted son.
the 2nd adam.
god loves us all. we are all his children. he created us all.
what do u all think>???
dont get offended. but their are so many religeions. we cant be 100% certain which is right.just believe in god.
