My ex of 2 years broke up with me 6 months ago. I met up with her 2 months ago for closure but she was mean to me the whole night, telling me how she has slept with other guys, and wud prefer to have lots of little relationships until she is about 25, baring in mind she is 19. She basically enjoys having flings, no commitment. I totally disagree with this and always have and couldn't believe her morals after knowing her for 2 years. Anyway, all the girls I've met since her think just a like. AM I DOING THE WRONG THING? Should I be sleeping with friends or sharing it with someone I love? Part of me wants to have my ex as a friend but all my mates say I am better with out her. It's like she was a different person with me. I am just so confused. I respect a girl, and want to share that experience with someone I care about. Anyone got any feedback on this?

Advertisers say a car gets 20 mpg as if that is something new and wonderful - yet it seems to me that cars have often had a much higher mpg. Am I remembering wrong?
My old '71 VW van has gotten 20 mpg. So what's the deal - anybody know?

Why should Illegals with children get Special treatment? When a person breaks the law Knowingly they accept the risk of getting caught. If you have a family in America and ROB a bank or committee any type of crime. The justice system doesn't go O wait you have a KID we can't send you to prison and seperate you from your child that wouldn't be right. So why do Illegals Expect Special treatment? That lady in Chicage is attempting to use her kid as reason to stay. That's Exactly the same as ANY other criminal attempting to use there kid to stay out of Prison. It doesn't work for LEGAL: citizens and it certainly shouldn't apply to Illegals.

I'm REALLY, REALLY ready to buy new furniture as my 2 black cats Wintekang & Onyx have destroyed my couch, two of my chairs & the corners of my box spring. I have to admit when they were kittens, I gave them the run of the house & didn't discipline them like I should have when they began scratching things. They are 3 yrs old now & I REFUSE to declaw them after I found out what is actually done during the procedure. Is it too late to teach them to stop scratching my furniture? I read about some things called "Soft Paws" that are like fake nails for a cat, cute but a little weird to me. (Apparantely, you can get them in colors) I am going to buy two scratching posts this week, since they scratch everything else anyway I should have no problem getting them to use those. I also considered some kind of spray but the reviews about those aren't that great. They are 3 years old now is it too late to stop this? I love my cats and want to keep them but I can't have them destroying new furniture!
