I think I'm finally going to get a Mac around the time that Leopard comes out, but is it really worth it to pay however much more. I can see that it has a lot of new features like Time Machine and iSight upgrades, but none of my friends have Macs, so the iSight really might not be worth it.

This is really idiotic seeing as how Pope John Paul never said anything like that. The bible tells us to make a joyful noise unto the lord using stringed instruments. Specifically named was the harp which did not even exist at the time. The first so-called "harps" were actually similar to guitars. And to tell you the truth i'm not Catholic but have been to masses on frequent occasons but i've never, i mean never heard a joyful noise from there. Why's that? **This is not meant to be offensive to Catholics but just think, what's going on?**

I've been working for a company for 15 months, they're only small so they are always looking to increase their profits by whatever means. They've managed to lay off or drive out other staff members and have eroded my own duties to the point where I spend most of the day scratching around for work. This has not gone unnoticed.
Since my original interview, another manager has had it in for me and has done her best to bully, accuse and undermine (all subtle, no witnesses) I did complain, but it simply made things worse
I am hard of hearing - this has suddenly become a capability issue.
I not upset - I do, of course, desperately need the money - but I've seen enough not to want to carry on anyway,.
I need to know the best way to resign without looking like a quitter.
Or should I stay until I'm pushed?
Will the (UK) state give me any assistance whilst I try to find another job?
I'm an HR Manager and I can't just tell them to stuff it - I desperately need a good reference.

so im a line cook and i love my job ive heard many stories of guys being hard on women cooks and making them cry and leave the line now i have never experienced this becase if a guy dishses out shyt to me ill give it right back but why do men have issues with women in a professional kitchen i know theres sexest men out there where ever you go but i have heard alot of women dont make it in this industry and i realize its a high stress enviroment but never the less why is it ok for a women to b at home in the kitchen but in a professional kitchen its another story ?
