IMHO, no earlier than 18. It depends on financial and emotional security.
For most people, I would tell them to wait until they were 25 or even 30 for professionals.

While there is no clear cut answer to this (and people can say when you're married or over 25 all day, but WHATEVER, you NEVER know what life will bring so those things don't count for much in the long haul.) I would say when a Person (female or male) feels that they are emotionally and spiritually able to put the needs of someone else before themselves for the rest of their lives. Its not like being married where you can expect the other person to pull their weight and leave if they don't... and while it is WONDERFUL, its not like shopping, you don't just return them if you decide they don't fit, they aren't the right color, size or whatever...having a child is FOREVER...and if you're ready its the best experience you can have on earth.

I don't think there is a right time age wise...well not younger than 18. I do think that you should be at a good point in your career (both parents). you should also do anything goal related that will make it difficult to do when children are present for example: traveling aroung the world, a musician/model, vacation daily etc. You have to be willing to DEVOTE ALL your money, attention, and love to the newborns.

I got pregnant at 17 had my daughter at 18 but I wish I would have graduated high school first and went to college first and I wish I would have been married to the right man I didn't find the right guy until I met my husband of 4 years now because my daughters father ran out on me when he found out I was pregnant then took her away from me and ran now I am married and I can't have children I am only 23 years old and now that me and my husband want children we can't have them so we would have to adopt a child but adoption costs between 10,000 - 100,000 dollars so we have to find a child to adopt ourselves. so I would say the right age to have a baby depends on when and if you are sure you are with the right guy and make sure that he will stay and not run when he finds out that you are pregnant.

The proper age is when you can commit yourself to nurture, educate and train your child and provide the best life you know how. Without commitment, there is no proper age. Bearing children is easy. It's raising them that's hard. Having said that, for me it's between 21 to 35.

If you are healthy, 28-38.
I think it's important to be stable in your relationship, children are desired by both parties, and you can financially support them without going broke.

Its different for every individual you should have them whenever you feel ready, However I would say before the age of 35 or so to decrease birth defects.
