Well FIFA ruled that it should be in Africa, and I think it would have been most fair to give it to a historically good African soccer country: Morrocco. Who does not want to go there for a month long festival of the beautiful game? It's an extraordinarily beautiful tourist location with a vibrant nightlife and close proximity for teams coming from Europe, North America, and Asia than South Africa. If the 2010 World Cup was in Morrocco I would totally go.

South Africa--they won the bid and they have held successful rugby and cricket World cups so they deserve the chance as FIFA ghas given them.
Now 2014, I hope they skip South America and give it to Australia. it'd be awesome as it would occur during Aussie Rules season so two sports at same time happening.

In South America because I live there and it is a region that honors, respects, and has a rich history of the sport. It would mean so much to latin americans to have such an event in their backyards.
