Corinthians 2:14
The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Does this verse remind you of the story of the Emperor who had no clothes? The Emperor was so convinced that walking around naked was the height of fashion that no one in his kingdom could convince him otherwise, and so he set about parading himself before the masses. Likewise those who dress themselves up in things that are supposed to come from the Spirit of God are so convinced that doing so is the height of fashion that no one can convince them otherwise and they set about parading themselves before the masses?
