Average means runs given by a bowler per wicket taken and strike rate is the rate of striking i.e. after how many balls a bowler takes a wicket for example: strike rate of 30 means that the bowler takes an average wicket after every 30 balls.

if in average the bowler get a wicket in 10 overs (1 over=6 balls) then the bowler's average is 60. The strike rate is the number of runs of how much a batter gets in an over.

Strike RatE: strike rat for batsman is xxx runs per 100 balls. it applies same to the bowler. the more the s/r, the worse it is.
Average: average means the runs conceeded per wicket. if a bowler hs avg of 40.00 means that he conceeds 40 runs for 1 wicket. the lesser it is the better.

The bowler's average is how many runs that have been scored off him in all matches divided by the number of wickets he has taken. His strike rate is the total number of balls he has bowled in all matches divided my the amount of wickets he has taken in all matches.
