Ok my mom died when I was 8 I am now 14, but instead of the hurt going away it comes stronger. Why does it do this??? It seems like everything I do reminds me of my mom now, what should I do??? I have no older sisters, but I do have a friend that is 18, I just don't want to annoy her with all my problems.

First of all, what happended to american nationalism? Our culture.....in the 20's we wouldn't have had a pro hezbollah march in the cities of our once marvelled san francisco. Our culture is being diversified to the point that american's are now the minority at your local mall. We need to re-establish american norms of life, our culture, and set some immigration laws. This is getting ridiculous, if we don't stop and realize this country is turning into a melting put of cultural differences than we will fall from within.

WHY do we stop and screen grandmas, people named john/sarah at our airports, we need to profile the muslims, i dont care if people are sensitive, i'd like to carry on water on my plane flight and avoid 3 hours of line, quit being stupid america....wake up, or we will never win this war on terror.

Do you believe this? If you do, please do some simple research and educate yourself about the realities. This same 57% also believe that Saadam and Osama are buddies! They are and always have been bitter enemies. Sadaam is Sunni and Osama is Shiite and if you've been watching the news, you know that they are really not compatible to say the least!

If your answer is "yes" please explain why when even the President and VP have said publically that there was no connection at all. I know some will accuse me of using this forum to state my point of view, but I am truly wondering how so many Americans can possibly not know that there was never any connection. Thank you.

I was diagnosed with guttate psoriasis. It's all over my back and stomach. It makes my back look old and wrinkly like when I'm only 17. Does anyone have help to stop the itching and keep my skin looking as young as I am? Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I am currently directing a production of "Taming of the Shrew" and never in my experience as a director have I had lead actors that were so hesitant to do what I ask them to do. It's always "that doesn't feel right" or "I can't do it that way because blah blah blah" I don't want to be a dictator but by the same token, an actor's job is to try to understand the director's concept and go with it. I'm lucky to have actors of such talent, but I really wish they would leave their egos behind and trust that I know what I want and I see a bigger picture than just their role. Has anyone else had a similar experience? how did you deal with it?

ok this might have sounded weird for you to check out my gf but i have having probelms with her...she sometimes has low self esteem problems becuase some days she doesnt bring it up and thinks she looks prety but other days well .... i always tell her shes pretty...am i just saying that becuase she my gf or is she really pretty...? look at this pic of her...she the one on the left in the blue..

I am a college student who happen to be not so good at academics. Hence, I only go to state university instead of Ivy League Univ. like Harvard, Yale, Princeton.
My parents often tells me that I won't get a good job or make good money if I don't go to top-notch school and make good grades. It always hurts hearing that as it is NOT my intention that I am not such a good student. Although they say it for my well-being, it sometimes makes me really depressed and even suicidal at times.
I know education is important. But I don't believe higher education always means mroe happiness. I wanna ask u guys. How happy are you being a Ivy Leaguer or Ivy League grad and making hefty sums of money and recognition from people wherever you go? I just wanted to hear from first-hand account. Because based on what my parents tell me, it must be a fantastic life every day. Thanks in advance for any insights.
