Not really. I believe it's fearof the unknown and lack of knowledge for other's race and culture.

The largest problem with racism is that people have no idea how to use the term.
Jealousy could be associated with racism, though many racist would not admit or identify that. Imperialism, ethnocentrism, may fit a little better.

I think that the problem behind racism is lack of understanding. People simply do not understand the different cultures and different beliefs.

Hell no, everyone has predujaces, whether it's colour of skin, downing of people because they have a different taste in music or come from a different area.

The issue is not racisim, but rather that people will always pick up on, and prey upon differences between people, its not necessacarily jealousy, but because of a difference, somewhere
skin colour, culture, sex or whatever

Very good question. I do not think so, I think there are people who want to feel superior to others, they are often the ones to put others down including races.

no ---- racism is not one sided. if a group of people (usually smart-essed teenagers) openly show a hatred for you, it's just natural to hate them back.

no i think the problem is the way children are raised. you raise a loving child that embraces differences or a closed minded child that thinks there is only one what - what their ignorant parents taught them
