My husband says I'm stuck in the 80's ... but I loved the 80's .... pre gulf war, big hair, great music, life seemed easier then somehow, no cell phone or internet -- but more time to get away from work without having beepers, pagers, blackberries etc....

i love them! i spend at least 8 hours on the computer, i love playing my psp and my other game systems, i loved my old cell... etc... but all my stuff has been breaking. my laptop has broken over 2 times, my ipod video 60 gig broke, my ipod nano broke, my cell (brand new) broke , and way more.. do they hate me or am i just cursed?

I have a Golden Retriever/Chow mix female, she's about 3 years old now. We've adopted her from the SPCA when she was 1. She hates water, we took her to the aquatic center for an even called "Bark n Splash". There were a lot of dogs there and we were hoping it would cure her water shyness if she went and played with other dogs in the pools. It didn't work I even pulled her in and showed her it's fun, she didn't like it. So i'm still having problems, I like swimming and I want the dog to get exercise too, but she wont go swimming. Can anybody help?

I was told by the oral surgen office that they would decifer who would pay for more coverage dental or medical insurance. Come to find out they went with my medical insurance. They told me that my balance was $410, and insurance would pay the rest. I paid that. Then I get a bill saying that the claim was denied due to not being refered by my primary care physcian, and I owe the remainder of the balance: $2400.00. What are my options. I was refered by my delta dental dentist, do I demand that they chase them down. I am not paying this. My teeth were not hurting, but though that it would be a good preventitive measure.

everyone in my family is pressuring me to give my son babies cereal at 4 months! my moms the only 1 who agrees with me not to give him cereal at this age. hes just a lil over 17 lbs. im not ready to give him cereal yet and ive told my family this as well. his paed. says not to either... but they keep nagging me that hes hungry cuz his milk isnt enough for him and im tired of them always on my back, but they wont listen to me. its really discouraging and annoying. what else could i possibly tell them without cursing at them, cause thats how i feel most times!

I feel overwhelmed. All I can do is think-- think about things that have never really tweaked even the slightest intrest to me. Like life, time, and death. I'm only 13... and it's all I've been thinking about. Not boys, happiness and all that stuff... but things that never came to mind before. How can I occupy my mind to something else? It keeps me up at night, wondering if I could die the next day or if the world would just stop turning. And everything I do, no matter what just seems to take the back burner to what I think of. Is it possible for me to find something easier to think about?
