This will not heal it but may help until you can see a dentist. Buy some whole cloves and put on your tooth, they work much better than clove oil.

This is dependent upon the reason your tooth is hurting. If you have a cavity, the pain may eventually go away, but it will come back more persistent. If you have an abscess, you have an infection and most likely caused by root damage and may need a root canal.

Ora-gel and Ambasol are topicals, but will only help if the problem is with the gums. Tylenol will be better suited for the pain, Ibuprofen for swelling.

Each will eventually need to be treated by a dentist and the longer you wait, the more expensive the fees will be (not to mention the more sever the damage to your dental health.

First of all, you're not going to heal a toothache.

You can take alleve or motrin. You can put clove oil on your gums, or get an OTC toothache remedy at the pharmacy.

Clove oil is a home remedy. Put some on a Q-tip and swab around your tooth.

if it is from a cavity you can soak a small piece of cotton in alcohol (not beer...something stronger) and put it in the cavity... it numbs it just like anbesol does... which is another option if you have a few bucks... ibuprofen for pain... it will also help reduce swelling in the nerve of the tooth...
if it doesnt have a cavity, then it is abcessed and nothing short of anti biotics will help... but take ibuprofen for pain and inflammation...

Have someone step on your toes really hard, preferrably with heels. Then your toes will hurt and you'll forget about the toothache. ;)
