The only news I've heard, seen, read, etc on the news is x many lebanese have died in Israeli strike! You never hear about the amount of Israelis killed in a Lebanese strike! And they treat the lebanese like they're the innocent victims and the Israelis are the evil bad guy! IS THIS PROOF ONCE AGAIN OF THE MEDIA'S LEFT WING REPORTING BIAS?!?!?! arent these people supposed to REPORT the news, not filter the news for the most left winged stuff they can find?

all of the flowers fell off and the leaves shriveled too. does this mean it is done for or will it grow next year? the directions say to cut the spike after the flowers fall off, is the whole stem the spike or just a certain part at the top?

QUESTION: What are some medical problems that can prevent weight loss?

STORY: I've been trying to lose these 20-30lbs for years. Two years ago I joined a gym. 30mins every other day of exercise didn't work, I upped it to 30 mins everyday--still nothing. Eventually I started doing an hour a day and after that TWO hours a day (was doing the spinning/cycling classes mainly, but also step and kickboxing and bodyworks). NOTHING WORKED. I also teach karate on the side.

In fear of overexercising, I cut it back to 30 mins a day of just running. Still have yet to drop a pound OR LOSE AN INCH off my waist. My diet is great... no fastfood, sugary stuff, fruit juice, soda, etc. 90% a wide variety of veggies and beans (I'm a vegetarian), cottage cheese, some fruit, protein supplement, and some whole grains. I split my meals up into 6 a day to keep my metabolism up.

I'm at a lost of words. I don't know what else to do.

Let's take the religous aspect out of this question....I DON"T CARE if you think homosexuality is right or wrong!!!!! Should we as a people be denying gay amercian citizen the same rights and protections as straight ones have? Even if it's not called marraige? I have gone through some pretty violent situations in the past few years. Even though things are stablizing, I am still very jumpy. Any sudden or loud noises or movements make me jump out of my skin. I dont mean to be afraid. Its almost a natural reaction. What can I do to stop it?

There's this guy I work with who was nice and great looking. I asked if he wanted to hang out but he wasn't interested, though he didn't say those exact words. I wasn't really surprised by the rejection, because there wasn't that much flirting going on between us at work, probably because I always look so plain at work. But one day when I came in as a customer and I looked different, at first he didn't recognize me but when he did, he was all smiles. He was very interested in talking to me also at work from then on even though I still looked plain. It's like the opposite now. He would flirt and strike up conversations with me now. If he asks me out, should I go out with him?
