Yes, I've noticed that, too.
Once again, it's the leftist, bleeding heart media. They think they are there to make the news, skew things toward a liberal view, not to just report it. BOYCOT their stations and newspapers. Tell them why.
Then find other sources: Town Hall, National Review, Fox is OK sometimes. Welcome! You're leaving the Matrix.

here is why the reporting is as it is:
1. very few hezobollah have been killed by israeli air strikes. most (and i mean like 95%) of the victims are lebonese civilians who did not ask for this conflict to be brought into their homes. they deserve a voice too.
2. very few israeli soldiers have died. hezbollah is not an organized army. they don't have war planes or tanks. their strategy is basically to huck a bunch of missiles towards israel and hope they get somebody. so far they have mostly faild.
3. i'm not sure which news you're watching but i heard when the israeli soldiers were killed and i don't even have a tv. news is only news if it's current. if the lead story is between 4 israeli soldiers who died 3 days ago and 35 lebonese civilians who were killed by an air strike 3 hours ago which do you think is going to make the headline?
4. media bias is a myth used to bolster whoever's side is losing the battle for popular opinion. america's support for israel is making them look like the bad guy in this incursion. so america's leaders (the conservatives) blame the media to distract attention from the fact that it's america that supplies the tanks, the planes, the bombs that kill so many innocent civilians.

Every news report on the crisis in the middle east that I have seen (and I've watched a lot of them) gives details of losses on both sides. The fact is that many more Lebanese than Israelis have died (by a factor of about ten to one). So, obviously, there are more Lebanese deaths to report.
(check out: http://edition.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/meast/07/30/mideast.main/index.html
which is an up to date CNN report which lists both the 60 Lebanese deaths and 48 Israelis injured, one serious, today.)
There are few things funnier or more bizarre and delusional than listening to right wingers complain about a "left wing media bias". I suppose that it is understandable since many of these people believe that Noah somehow actually amassed animals from all seven continents and loaded them on a single boat of his own construction and that the Bush tax cuts have somehow helped the average American!
The media is owned by wealthy people, many of them Republicans, pretty well all of them dedicated to their own self interest. The right wing is the political faction that defends the interests of the wealthy. These people do not pay to publish or broadcast views that may lead to control of the political agenda passing from their hands into the hands of the majority of people who are not rich (and don't benefit from tax cuts).
But, then again, these are the people who believe that the Iraq invasion was not about oil because they see prices at the pump rising (even though oil company profits are also rising and just who did you think was going to benefit from a war for oil?) and that the world is less than five thousand years old (a period of time too short to produce the oil in the first place).
Really, you people should not be allowed to vote, debate or otherwise participate in a civil society if you are going to cling so ferociously to ignorance as a guiding principle.

I don't think that is Left Wing propaganda. They were distinguishing between militants and civilians. Israelis have caused more casual damage.. It would be the same thing if America was getting bombed because Bush was President. Not everyone supports him, and not everyone deserves to die just because they live here.

Sorry to say, the majority of the networks report the news with their eyes on the people whose money supports their networks. If you want to get some more realistic news coverage, you'll have to set your TV to Fox News and DON'T TOUCH IT!! The others are so tilted to the left, one of their legs is longer than the other one to keep them from falling over.

This is very true. If only there was an unbiased media source. However humans are humans, and they all carry their biases, no matter how hard they try not to.

.This Lady has it absolutely correct!
The lady who wrote this letter is Pam Foster. She recently wrote the following Letter to a family member serving in Iraq .
"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it, or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001?
Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania? Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?
And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet? Well, I don't! I don't care at all.
I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.
I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible; the mere possession of which is a crime In Saudi Arabia .
I'll care when Abu Musab al-Zarqawi tells the world he is sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling, slashed throat.
I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in Mosques
I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana, care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.
When I hear that a prisoner who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled,"
YOU can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts that I don't care.
And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and---- you got it, I DON'T CARE!"
"If you can read this, Thank a teacher!
If you are reading it in English, Thank a Veteran."

Listen to Green Day's song American Idiot. Its about our media and how stupid they are. The media only reports what they think people should believe. I never believe what I hear from the media unless they say x building is on fire and they show that building.
