There's this guy I work with who was nice and great looking. I asked if he wanted to hang out but he wasn't interested, though he didn't say those exact words. I wasn't really surprised by the rejection, because there wasn't that much flirting going on between us at work, probably because I always look so plain at work. But one day when I came in as a customer and I looked different, at first he didn't recognize me but when he did, he was all smiles. He was very interested in talking to me also at work from then on even though I still looked plain. It's like the opposite now. He would flirt and strike up conversations with me now. If he asks me out, should I go out with him?

You asked him and he said he wasn't interested then he saw you all dressed up and he reversed his position, this shows he is vain.
He did not take the time to know the real you before rejecting you.
well if it is up to me i probably would not go out with him but if you think or know it was a one time thing and he is really a good person you can give him a chance if he asks.
But Don't ask him out again. Let him chase you if he really wants you.
I think anyone worth having a relationship with or spending time with should take the time to know you and not just look at physical appearances.

YES!! totally now that he knows what you look like outside of work, he should ask you out since he already knows that you like him!!!
