ive never been good at math. no matter how hard i study i just cant seem to get it. and suggestions on howi can get better?

The mom (who was never married to my fiance) doesn't want her daughter to be there and doesn't have a reason. The little girl is only 4 years old. I don't want it to be a tug of war but I want her to be there when her daddy and I get married. I want her to know she's part of the family, I'm not stealing her daddy from her, and I also want her mother to understand that I'm not trying to replace her as the mom. I don't want this to cause a fued, but it really is important to both me and my fiance that his daughter be there. How do I explain to the mother of his child that I won't budge on the issue without starting war??

OK - I just saw a question about why isn't Bill Clinton running for president, and we all know the answer to that. Term limits. But, what if a president was so popular, that all parties were very much for his/her policies. What if the American people were VERY satisfied with this person. Why isn't there a little caveat written in that states something to the effect: If 75% of the senate, house, and general population vote for this person, they can get a 3rd term? Not only would this allow us to keep a superb and popular individual in the office, but also it would prevent lame duck 2nd terms. Your thoughts?

i go our running most days and go thro our local park. there is a man who takes his dog there as well and is allowed to run riot, it chases and tries to bite most people from kids, to cyclists, to women pushing prams. it sneeked up behind me whilst jogging and gave me a sharp bite to the calf, which although hurt did not break the skin. i made off after it and managed to give it a sharp kick to the testicles, the owner didn't seem bothered. i think everyone should take this action, then at least the mutt will not be able to reproduce

I love my boyfriend. We have been through soo much together. I broke up with him twice,and all through those times he never gave up on me. We needed talk for 7 months, and 3 months later we started talking and dating again. I love him, but my heart hurts because, I think that our time has already come and go. I hate saying that, I dont want to let go, but im tired of having these feelings. He has never done anything wrong to me. when we were broken up he dated another girl, and met a few too. He never let himself go to far with them, because he never let me go in his heart and mind. But I think that I should have never talked to him again at all. I feel like I interfered with his life again. Im sooo sad. I feel like he deserves someone soo much better than me. I cry sometimes, because all i want is for him to be happy. Im 16 by the way. We have known eachother for 2 years. What do I do?

I am a 9th grader now. and I have liked a certian Girl, sience the 6th grade. She found out when i was in the 6th grade. but i was too shy around her to do anything about it. Now i know her, but am not reall a "Friend" as much as a person she knows. I do know her AIM. But am too shy to tell her that I like her. and i dont want to scare her away. I would like to talk to her in any other way than AIM. But i dont see her b/c its the summer. And i am going to a diffrent school than her this year. But still live in the same city. and I really dont know what to do. I cant look at a picture of any girl without thinking about her. She is the most important thing to me. I really just dont know what to do.

Well, my boyfriend wants me to lose weight, and he even sort of threatened to break up with me if I don't. All around, he's not a jerk or anything... I love him... it's just this one thing that bothers me. I mean, i really want to lose weight too, and in the past I've had successful diets. But now that I've had a bf 4 over a year, I've been gaining weight instead of losing it. I feel very unmotivated too, and whenever he brings it up I get so depressed that I want to just eat ice cream. He doesn't understand because he has a freakishly efficient metabolism and he doesnt have to eat right or work out to remain skinnier than average.

I've decided I want to lose weight for me, but i feel so unmotivated, like it's too much work or something... Any tips on how I can motivate myself to lose weight??? I really do want to, whether my bf and I remain together or not. I know how to lose weight, I have b4, I just need some more motivation. Can anyone help me?

(Im about 20 lbs overweight)
