My period was a week late. Crampy and heavy. I never get cramps. A friend said this could have been a miscarriage. Too late to diagnose now.

What I remember from reading The Hobbit a long time ago is that the Hobbits were just like people except they had furry feet and lived under trees. I never finished reading the other Tolkien books but I got the impression that all of the non-human creatures acted like humans. They seemed to have all the same strengths and weaknesses as people, approximately the same IQs, same approach to problem solving as people, no super powers. So what was the point of making them non human if they were going to act human?

While we were engaged, my now wife never really had a strong sex drive, twice a month. Of course I am a guy and would love to have sex twice daily. I would settle for 2-3 x per week. She says that sex has never really been that important to her. I knew this before we got married 6 months ago and it has not decreased in frequency.

So I've tried to be understanding blah, blah, blah. Then yesterday I just asked her if she ever gets horny. She says rarely. This was weird to me, I'm always horny! I am a paramedic by profession and know her medical history and am absolutley certain that she just really does not have interest in sex, with me or anyone. She has even jokingly/serious told me to get a girlfriend, RIGHT! I'm faithful but i'm dying here. Its also killing my ego. Any ideas?

I mean no ofences at all, I am just curious to know the opinions of the Americans about this issue. Here in Brazil we have such a poor media that we can not trust on the impressions they broadcast to us. So, what do you thinK? Why so many europeans, asians, africans and latin americans hate the US?

PS: Personally, I think this kind of feeling is stupid, I think there are good and bad americans, as there's good and bad Germans, Argentinians, Egiptians, etc...

We are both single and no one on the horizon, but we both want to get on the property ladder. Neither of us earns enough to get a mortgage on our own but think we could do it if we got one together. I've heard about a new sort of mortgage that's for friends buying together, where after a couple of years you review it and if it's not going well/one of you wants to move out you can sell up or whatever.

Before looking we are going to sit down and work out contingency plans for if anything goes wrong like being fed up of living together, or one or both of us meeting someone and wanting to move out or move them in. Plan would be to get all that drawn up by a solicitor so if it goes wrong neither of us should lose out.

Any one know anything about this or have any advice, or know how mortgages work and can explain it? I earn £13600 and my mate earns about £14k. Where we live is still quite cheap...average house price the the area is 102k! Lots are around 70-85k

Look at all the Muslim Countries and each leader. It’s too bad that Islam is defined by Bin-Laden, Saadam, and the Saudi Government. No wonder people see Islam as a Religion of hating all Jews and other religions. Another tragedy yesterday, a MOM WITH HER 5 KIDS were killed together, dad went to buy them something and when he came back, his house and beloved family were of the past.. he was saying that his kid "Rasha" told him that she wanted to go cuz she was bored, then he cried and screamed: "I wish I took her with me.."

I wonder why "Israel" is never codemned, I wonder why American channels never show Israeli terrorism...
