I DO wear socks with sandals. Here is why:

I'm a teacher, and on my feet all day long, so my feet do get hot (shoes don't ventilate, sandals do).

Out of professional duty, I wear socks. If you are in high school, do you want to see your teacher's nasty toes?

What is the big deal? My students always give me a hard time...but I don't care, and neither should you. If something is practical, don't you think you should use it? If something is impractical (pants around the ankles, high heels to heaven) don't you think you should not use it? By the way, if socks with sandals is taboo, what is so glorious about wearing your pants so loose they hang around your ankles? I would rather see someones socks than their nasty plaid boxers.

i have very curly hair but have been straightning it for some time now. Ive been using BIOSILK to keep it somewhat nice and not nappy but now it doesnt seem to be working. I know that straightning isnt all that healthy and i was just wondering if there was something else out there that would help with the dried dead hair that i have now. I have a ceramic hair straightner if that matters. i use Fructis shampoo and conditioner and biosilk and still seem to have frizzy nappy hair ALL the time. help please lol

A man was being tailgated by a stressed out woman on a busy boulevard.

Suddenly, the light turned yellow, just in front of him.
He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.

The tailgating woman was furious and honked her horn, screaming in frustration as she missed her chance to get through the
intersection, dropping her cell phone and makeup.

As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer.

The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police station where she was searched, finger printed, photographed, and placed in a holding cell.

After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door.
She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.

He said, "I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him."

The officer continued, "I noticed the 'Choose Life' license plate holder, the 'What Would Jesus Do' bumper sticker, the 'Follow Me to Sunday-School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk. Naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car"

my friends 40th birthdya party and i will be 41 this saturday. normally a straight married woman and mother. but tonight we had a shuttle givieng ridesa nd i drank toomuch and am feeling so sared about the amount i drank. i am scared i will die. everything is b lurry. the tv. etc. my husband already crashsed out. should i have anxiety over it. i have a tendency toward anxiety/panic attacks.
