BDS

Cons:

>Doesnt have much specialisation options.Specialisations mostly related to oral cavity and face.

MBBS:

Pros:

>high paying job.Pays are generally more than that of dentists.
>You hae wide options for furthur study and specialisations.
>A more interesting job as you get to see more than just mouths
and bad breaths!

i wud prefer u 2 switch on to BDS coz this in itself is a specialisation. this is the +ve of BDS.the -ve BDS is tat u cant nhange ur field .if u go in 4 MBBS u wil hav 2 go in 4 a seperate specialisation.this is the -ve of MBBS. at the same time the +ve is u hav a broad spectrum of specialisation after ur MBBS.

MBBS deals with whole body --> more specialities, more to learn, more avenues
BDS ---> limited to teeth, less to learn compared to MBBD and less avenues
