That early it's possible. I've had a few times like that, but I've also had times like that even before I ever had sexual contact with a guy. It's kinda hard to say. It's theorized that many women have miscarriages that they don't even notice, because they have it the same time that they would have had their period anyway. The only reason why this has come up is because with early pregnancy tests becoming more sensitive, women are finding out days before their pregnancies and end up "getting their period anyway."
But again, even before I could get pregnant, I would have periods that were late and ended up having them heavier and/or more painful when I did get them. So unless you take a pregnancy test at around the time you started bleeding (hcg doesn't always go down right away, and it stays in urine longer than blood) you may not know for sure. If the bleeding ever lasts abnormally long (as in by 2 or 3 days or more) you should probably see a doctor because if you are having a miscarriage, it could be incomplete.

You very well could have had a miscarrairge. I would go to the Dr's and get checked anyway. And soon. Sometimes a miscarraige can leave stuff behind that can cause major health issues. And No, it not to late to diagnose.
I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks, it felt very crampy and heavy bleeding that lasted two weeks. I had to see a Dr. and had to have a procedure called a D&C. It happened again at the 3 month mark of the next pregnancy and I felt no pain or cramps at all. But I didn't feel pregnant anymore, either. Again, a D&C, the bleeding lasted for 4 weeks.

I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks and it was very heavy bleeding and the pain was almost unbearable. I had another at 11 weeks with my next pregnancy it was totally different, I had no pain, I passed a large size of a tea cup saucer blood clot but then had no more bleeding. I had d and c's for both. I have heard that women can get pregnant and have a miscarriage and its like having a late period, but its heavier then normal.

well yes its more crampy. it would also be clotty and heavier than usual. if it was recent you would still have pregnancy hormones in your body. you still need to see a doctor "just in case" because your body may not have expelled all of the tissue. one of my miscarriages was at 6 and a half weeks and i needed a D&C. Being a week late would have made u 5 weeks - so just go get a check up.
good luck with it all.

through brown stuff I consider you imply coming out of your vagina...? A miscarriage at round 7 weeks will likely be very heavy, darkish colored and clotting. and can harm like a interval however somewhat worse. The placenta will pop out at a few factor, it'll appear like a enormous gooey purple blood clot, better than you'll count on. If you would not have them, I'd advocate getting a few maternity pads immediately. in case your now not going to health facility maintain consuming water, plenty and plenty of water, and if the bleeding raises take a few soreness killers. Stay in mattress and get men and women to preserve you, deliver you meals and relief. Afterwards, take a few iron drugs.

It probably wasn't. Sometims when your period is late, it causes pain A miscarriage would have you doubling over in pain, and probably vomiting as well. If you had one, there would be no doubt in your mind.
