I am happily married and have a great job.. I am satisfied with my life. But I've done things in the past (like past relationships that I deeply regret, things I've done to my body and some excessive partying) that I can't really get over. My husband doesn't know about any of it (why should he since we weren't together at the time and alot of it would change his image of me) and I'm partly scared that he will find out.

But how do I get myself from feeling bad about what I did? It's not just guilt... it's wanting to go back and change things in my life. Is that possible? It's more than 'having been young and stupid'.

(please don't give advice like 'get therapy'...I won't really qualify for therapy... nothing really pathological about my psyche. and in terms of what I've done... some of it was promiscuity, and partying too hard.. I don't think details are necessary.

Please help!!

I know many do it but we never hear about it. If so many people actually listen to what they say and do what they do why don't they speak up about this issue? I'm not saying that they have to put down formula feeders but just speak up and lend their image as an example. After all, these are working mothers. Sure, they can afford to have help around the house and with their kids but it is still a great example. C'mon, if Christie Brinkley wasn't worried about sagging breasts, why should any of us?

I am moving to my new apartment in a week or so but i'm a little scared of how to manage my money to pay my rent every month. I've lived at home with my parents all my life and all i've had to pay monthly was $300 just to help my dad around the house. I make close to $1,700 a month and the rent will be $825. I'm sure I can afford it along with my cell phone bill($100), my car insurance($68) and 2 credit card payments($100) a month but i'm just not sure how to save all that money and have it ready for the end of the month. Any tips on how you manage your money. Do you save so much every payday and keep it for your rent. What do you do? Please help. I'm 21 years old and moving in to my first apartment. Thanks!

you knew it was linked to several medical conditions, drug interactions and that it never passed a single toxicity test? Did you know our very own Donald Rumsfeld, CEO of aspartames maker, Searle used political clout to get it on the market and that Ron Reagan used his clout to make sure the FDA could no longer block its introduction to the public despite the medical research against it? Knowing this, (and the research is EASY to find) would you be able to give up your diet soda and other treats laced with the deadly aspartame? Would you feel strongly enough to merely pass on the information, or would you just sit there and watch friends and family drink it down, and pay hundreds of dollars per year to something that contributes to ill health in a variety of factors, some of them deadly. Does this introduce concerns about the power the FDA has or had? thoughtful answers only please.

I do consruction work, I'm a framer. I've worked with a company that just recently went out of buisness. There were 2 owners. The one owner is gone, the other owner took his favorites, built one crew and put us on peace rate. I've gone without pay for 4 weeks, been told it's comming and without fail every time, nothing. They owe me for 52 hrs before I went to peace rate. Every time I've got my pay checks there has never been a check stub showing hours worked, taxes, etc. The last two checks bounced and I'm getting letters stating I owe them $. Checks were cashed at check city. Our work van is not registered or licenced, nor do I believe insured now for 4 months.(Yet to have been pulled over and fined) I talked to my dad last night who is finacially well to do and he said, "We're taking this company to court." I just want to know where I stand in this mess.

A lot of self-righteous people talk about forgiveness and mistakes. Like in the question about nursing pedophiles and murderers.

But just once I'd like to hear from someone who has had a child raped and murdered and hear how they forgave. If they ever could.

Theory is all very well but even Yoko Ono admitted that she felt differently about the prisoners in the prison where Mark Chapman (Lennon's killer) is now. Her and John used to campaign for the prisoners but now she's a victim, things have changed.
