I wonder if anyone can help me. I am a non-native user of English and am confused about two prepositions.

When we name a graph or chart and want to describe that data in that graph or chart reflect the position at a certain time, should we say "position/data as at" + date/month or "position/data as in " + date/month ?

E.g.

position as at January 2006?
position as at 1 January 2006?
position as in Janaury 2006?

Or should I simply say "position at Janaury 2006" or "position in January 2006"?

The preposition "as" seems so redundant.

The suns are the sources of light in space, so one assumes that the position of space station determines whether when astronauts having their space walk, they are in the sun light or in darkness? If the station is behind the planet, it is in complete darkness?

Are we not all of gods children? Should god not love us all? After all we are all his children according to the bible? Being gay never hurt anyone. Also to believe it could that it could end life on the earth is very unrealistic. The chances of everyone turning gay is impossible, it has the same chance as the world exploding

I believe that the free love of the 60's and the other events that occured during that time frame are the cause of where we are today with abortions, and single mothers, the high divorce rates and everything else. If you compare what life was like in the 50's and 40's and how everything was to what it was like during the 60's and on it all makes for a good cause in my opinion....what are your thoughts?

I noticed that when asian people speak english they are soft spoken but in their native tongue the volume seems to be above average. Is this just an effect of the way the words sound? Anyone else notice this?

I have found 2 new recipes I want to try (Chicken Pot Pie and Peach Pie) and both instruct you to cover edges loosely with foil. It doesn't say anything about covering the whole pie. Does that mean cover the whole pie and loosely seal around edges? Or does it mean just the edges? Thank you in advance!
