I am really upset about his veto ! This could have helped so many suffering people ! Who does Bush think he is , God ? He's protecting cells that are going to be destroyed anyway ! I just don't get it ! By saving those cells , he just destroyed some peoples hopes and dreams of one day being healthy again ! I am one of those people !

a recipe for major protes. there's so many things that stem cell research could do it's mind boggling. it pisses me off so much that someone could be so inconsiderate and not think about the people of their country who are struggling with rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, parkinsons etc. The presiden't job is to make decisions in the best interest of the people, as much I hate to say it Bush is our leader and he's in an essence: the dumbest well payed nanny known to man. And a nanny wouldn't let there children die, would they?

Multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's together affect less than 1% of the U.S. population. Is this seriously the most important thing you people can think to argue about? Is this something we should pump millions of tax dollars into? If the answer is "yes," then I have another research program for the government to fund: my family represents way less than 1% of the total U.S. population. My scientific study would discover the affects on my family of the U.S. government funding us to the tune of $7.5 million. What do y'all say?
