Are we not all of gods children? Should god not love us all? After all we are all his children according to the bible? Being gay never hurt anyone. Also to believe it could that it could end life on the earth is very unrealistic. The chances of everyone turning gay is impossible, it has the same chance as the world exploding

Does the original bible say anything against homosexuals? Or did men just add that in? Why is the bible stating lines against homosexuals? Its not like they hurt people or cause anything damaging to the world.

Many religions are not against gays and lesbians. (Disciples of Christ, Unitarian Universalists, Old Roman Catholic Church, Religious Science, Reconciling Methodists and more.) More and more evidence shows homosexuality is a trait like eye color. So it would seem to be natural.
Some churches seek the weakest opponents to use as scapegoats. If those in control can blame a defenseless minority for the problems in the world then they don't get the blame themselves. These same kind of attacks have also been made about other religions, other races and women.
And the best way to get converts is to have them born to your followers. Also a reason for churches to oppose birth control and sex education.
Intolerance is a greater threat to the world than love is.

You really don't want to open this can of worms.
My religion is not against homosexuals. I also invented my religion, so I guess that might not count.
There are passages in the Bible that list homosexuality as a sin. There is also a passage in the Gospel of John that should explain we are not to judge others for their lifestyles, but I think a lot of people ignore that one.

choosing to become a homosexual is a choice of free will... meaning God has no say in what you do..
and..um.... haven't you read the Bible? I have not either.. but I know it says, 'thou shall not lay with mankind as you do with woman kind; it is an abomination'
by the way... you are defining 'unrealistic' in the wrong way...

God made a man and a woman (Adam and Eve) and that's how people reproduce. God had plans and homosexuality wasn't one of them.

Homosexuality doesn't naturally lead to procreation, and I think this is why many religions shun it.

I think you must be trying to instigate something by posting in the wrong category on purpose, just like Aragon.

I agree 100%. People are just scared of what they aren't familiar with and so they use their religion to justify their bigotry.

love the sinner... hate the sin..it is just what it is...
he loves you unconditionally..but he cannot allow you to live with him in sin nor can he allow you to not be held accountable and responsible for your actions regardless of whether you were born this way or that...
