Don't get me wrong, the movie wasn't bad and I enjoyed my time at the cinema but II was expecting so much more, Captain Jack Sparrow only got a few laughs this time round and I felt that the first half of movie was directionless, too many searches were going on and the thread of the plot just seemed to get jumbled up somewhere along the way.

A survey on sex, religion, and infidelity conducted by Euro RSCG Worldwide took a peek into the bedrooms of five countries--the United States, Great Britain, France, Germany, and China--and found that more than anyone else, Americans' sexual behavior is very much influenced by their religious views.
A substantial 39 percent of Americans said they agreed that "my religious beliefs factor into my sexual behavior," while at the other extreme, a very meager 3 percent of French respondents agreed and an overwhelming 91 percent disagreed.
No other nation surveyed came close to the United States in terms of allowing religion into the bedroom. The nearest was the United Kingdom with 16 percent in agreement. In Germany, just 6 percent agree that religion influences sexual behavior.
"If the last few years have proved anything, it's that sex and religion are highly charged subjects that need to be handled with great care," said Ira Matathia, managing director of the New York office of Euro RSCG Worldwide, in a news release announcing the survey findings.
Perhaps the most surprising finding of all was that fully 15 percent of the Chinese respondents said that religion plays a role in their sex lives. Chinese authorities have long discouraged religion (and, for that matter, sex) so it's striking that even 15 percent acknowledged this was true for them.
Other findings about sex, religion, and infidelity:
The Chinese are by far the most likely to think that monogamy is the natural state for human beings: 70 percent of them agree, compared with 57 percent of Americans, 44 percent of the French, 42 percent of Brits, and 40 percent of Germans.

Almost 60 percent of Britons think it is normal for a 30-something to have had 10 or more different lovers over the course of his or her single years. This compares with 52 percent of Germans, 49 percent of Americans, 30 percent of French, and 17 percent of Chinese.

Oddly, 23 percent of the Chinese think that extramarital affairs in which no one gets hurt are acceptable. Compare this to 11 percent of Brits and 9 percent of Americans. (The French and German samples were more in alignment with China than with the United States or the United Kingdom.)

In all the countries except the United Kingdom, higher proportions of men than women are tolerant of extramarital affairs that cause pain to neither party.

Hi...I am trying to find a really good chocolate chip cookie recipe. One that is puffy and wrinkled, and one that is soft and chewy, not hard and crispy. Also one that will stay soft for more than a day. Any suggestions?? Thanks Tina

Today is Sunday and I am thinking about going to church. Does anyone know of a good Christian redneck congregation that I might attend? One with lots of Republicans and doomsdayers? Oh Jesus, take me home!

Whenever you make a damaging point to conservatives, one that is undeniably true, all you ever get for an answer is "You need to get your facts staight."

No rebuttal, no explanation as to why you are wrong.

Why can't you people just concede a point? I mean, hell, for people wrong as much as you, you would think it would be easy by now.

Here is the setup. This creature a few days ago literally told Israel to "sic 'em!" regarding its invasion of Lebanon and the murdering of 300s if not thousands of innocent civilians all over that small nation and driving anywhere from 200,000 to 500,000 of them literally in their sleepware out into their roads to flee aimlessly until they die, starve to death or die of thirst. And at the same time has his White House staff set up an "American Idols" performance for his amusement.

What am I missing here? All this seems so out of touch with Christian compassion and ordinary human decency that I honestly cannot understand the event or its purpose.

I had to struggle but I have resisted listing possible reasons for you to choose from. I just want your honest reaction to the above.

As a Jew-i was given the Jewish scriptures at my BarMItzvah-as i studied it Moses said (Leviticus 17 vs 11) thus saith the Lord, "The life of the flesh is in the blood and ive given it to make atonement for your soul." forgiveness is in the blood sacrifice-Isaiah chapters 52 vs 13-53vs 12-explained it prophetically that one would come to fulfill this approx 700bce "He shall be exaulted but first marred more than any man, and he will be the anointed one (the Messiah), who will lay down his life as an atonement for our sins."
well it was a big step for me to go against what my synagogue said-that Moses was wrong and Isaiah also-that we dont need a blood atonement for sins anymore-and i believed Yeshua (God is salvation-in english Jesus) as he said in Revelation 3 vs 19&20 that he stands at my heart door and knocks to come in, deliver from sin and be my friend." so i prayed and became a Jew with a Jewish Messiah-"Come into my heart, forgive my sins, help me, and be my friend, amen"!
