it depends on your definition of illusion.

if for you "illusion" is something that has no tangible reality, then it is an illusion, but "the mona lisa being beautiful" has no tangible reality (it's an idea), and i don't think it's an illusion either...

Emotional states are verifiable are they not? How else can you make a sensible statement about feelings towards another if they are merely an illusion. Thats kind of like questioning the existence of thought isn't it? I think therefore I am...I feel there for I am not? Thats nonsense.....
