You sometimes get the dismissive "That's what I'd expect form a liberal".
When you deal in facts, you can't call anyone wrong.
When you deal with opinions, it's anyone's guess.

Human nature dictates that if someone is set on an opinion, you won't change their mind. If they have no rebuttal it's not because you've hit a damaging blow and they need to rethink what they believe - they're still gonna believe whatever - it's just that they think you're being a jerk and that you need to stop caring what they think so much that you'll spout what they consider to be any dumbtush response you have.

Well, yes, conservatives and Libertarians WILL concede the fact that you Liberals can spew an awful lot of words, and still say nothing!
I will concede that point!
Citizens everywhere, of all political persuasions, are still awaiting an official party platform from the Democrats.
Meanwhile, most of the 'Conservatives' are really Libertarians. Take the test! http://boortz.com see the platform: http://lp.org

As well, if you point out a blunder by Goerge Bush, as if that is hard to do, the response is always an attack on Bill Clinton or Jimmy Carter.
Again, no response at all to the question asked.
Conservatives are unable to admit their lack of perfection, that is, their humanity.

I think what you have noticed is that conservatives base their arguments on facts. WE want facts, we want to know where you base your information; we want your source list.
Liberals base their arguments on emotion. And they do not care how they get their point across. And if you we hit you with a fact that you dont like, your throw a fit.
So to answer your question, YES, i'll have the veal.

How can something that is undeniably true be factually inaccurate?
When you want a convict someone of a shooting you don't call a knife the murder weapon. When you do that you take all the credibility out of you allegations, reducing them to mere speculation.

I've also noticed that whenever an undeniable argument is presented to a liberal, they resort to ad homonym rather than rebutting the argument. Nobody wants to be wrong.

It's actually the recomended talking point when they've been caught with their hands in the cookie jar.

That's not what I've noticed.
I've seen some people answer with name-calling, some saying "I don't agree with my party on this one" and some (too few on either side) answer with facts & logic.
Can you provide some examples? Links to Qs with such answers?

I've never noticed that, however I've noticed that when you make a point to a liberal they either;
change the subject
say you are evil
make an emotional argument
start screaming
