I live in one of the most diverse cities in the world -san francisco- and I always see people date their own race. Asians date only asians, white americans date only white americans, mexicans date only mexicans, blacks date only blacks. When I go downtown and walk for hours I see hundreds of couples but I never see a couple made up of 2 people from different races. I never see a white and black dating, I never see a white girl with an asian guy, i never see a mexican girl with a white guy...etc. Why?

OK, On Sunday I went swiming and i swallowed a little chlorine water accidently, later that night i started having problems breathing, i went to a doctor and he said i have tonsilitis, that is clearing up, i am still having problems breathing, it hurts, i have asthma, can you tell me why?

It is quite the topic amongst the Christians and Atheists but not sure how you ppl think of this topic. Also if you do think evolution is a fact, how does the idea of fairies and other creatures like that play into this equation? Or are they just myths and legends?

This may be controversial among Christians...many things are because our faith matters to us so much.

Remember when Pilate said, "I don't want to be held accountable of this man's death," and then what did the Pharisees answer?

"May his blood be on us and on our children."

Before anybody goes off and thinks I believe this is a curse the Jews called down upon themselves or something like that, what about this?

Irony.

His blood IS on them and on their children. The cleansing, redeeming blood that bought our pardon. The reason? The covenant between God and Abraham.

Since she was not 18, I had to use my email address, etc. Then at the end, they asked me for my credit card info. I do not know why they needed that. I thought yahoo email was free. Does family email cost money???

Now, I came over this in a statistics book, which I decided was relatively accurate so far, then I seen that 50% of Americans believe in the Devil - is that a load of bollocks? Now, obviously no one person knows the answer if they are just guessing, so any Americans here state what way you believe please and we can do our own poll, but if it's anywhere near 50% then shame on you that's seriously sad. If not, then sorry, but it just sounds like American beliefs to me.

I am insulating a single thickness outer wooden wall using polystyrene foam and then covering the inside with plasterboard. Do I need a vapour barrier and if so does it go on the wood side of the insulation or the plasterboard side?
UK so wet and damp sometimes and cold.

Just installed the ceiling light today...installed the same way as the old one, but my light switch in the hallway no longer turns off the ceiling light. Any suggestions? The ceiling lights turn off when I turn on the lighting from my fuse box, but I can't turn it off without shutting off all the lighting in the area via the fuse box.
