You could be having an allergic reaction to the chlorine. I am allergic to chlorine and aluminum. Metal poisoning is often overlooked, but it has some serious consequences. I was lying unconscious and turning blue before a medical technologist decided to try an uncalled for test for his own curiosity and found that my blood had more metal than oxygen in it. Since removing metals is a process in and of its own, you would need to consult with your physician.

did you use any nose protection ? and does it hurt to breathe in or out/ or both? sounds like you just have a bronvhual infection.
do not be alarmed. this should clear up in about 2 to 3 days. ]if thats the case].
better go and have it checked out anyway just to be on the safe side.

Chlorine can be very irritating, I think you are right to suspect it may be the problem.

Go see another doctor.

It could still be lingering from the tonsilitis. It could also be your asthma acting up as a response.

Go back to the doctor fast. Something else could be going on there.

You probably got chlorine in your lungs and burned them slightly.
