Since she was not 18, I had to use my email address, etc. Then at the end, they asked me for my credit card info. I do not know why they needed that. I thought yahoo email was free. Does family email cost money???

Search for free email. I have no Idea why they want a cc but don't enter it. Sounds like they are trying to sign you up for a package deal.

If yahoo then go to the main page (www.yahoo.com) and click on sign up for new email. This should get you a new acct without a cost.

They may be trying to verify that it's really an adult. I'd look in the Yahoo help files and email them to be sure though.
