After a hot dry spell, there usually follows a thunderstorm. Once the storm hits, you get a wonderful smell (I've described it as hot tarmac mixed with meadow - but that is an inadaquate description - if you can do better, feel free).

Exactly what is it that I smell after a thunderstorm and has anyone managed to reproduce this as a scent?

My Grandfather who was a Minister of the Prebyterian Church suggested to me to be forever questioning, searching, etc. This I have done and I really feel that it has become my answer to "Whats it all about". It has confirmed my beliefs in God, as I feel that 1 (one) lifetime is not enough to learn all that we have to learn and so subsequent lives progress us on to spiritual enlightenment. I've just turned 16 and my parents are finally letting me out on my first date with a boy. He's taking me for dinner and a movie, tho my parents say we have to be back home by 10.

I am a total bag of nerves. I've known this boy for like 2 years in school, but we've never dated, just sort of talked in school for a few minites here and there. He's pretty cute tho. We've chatted a bit on IM too, but it's not the same is it.

So, what's a first date like? What should I talk about, or shouldn't I talk that much? Um, in the movies, should I put my hand on his leg maybe or hold his arm, or just not touch him at all and what about kissing? I don't want to come across easy if you know what I mean.

I realize now how little I know about dating and stuff.

Please help with any ideas.

I am trying homeopathy for my state of mind at the moment . Is there any way to keep your tint from bubbling on a rear window with rear defrost? I always see other cars that have bubbles where those little wires heat up...it looks so crappy. i don't want my car to look like that, is there anything i can do to make it not bubble other than not using the rear defrost?
