If someone started an online store, do they need to obtain a business license?

Also, does anyone know of any good web sites with all the information I'd need to know about starting such a site? All the legal stuff and whatnot. I can't seem to find anything beyond sites that want your money to buy their "how-to program," disk, book, or join their site for reasons beyond what you are looking for. Where is a decent site with the right info...?

I weight about 88kg, hight 160's, age 18 (August)!
I've just started to increase my food portions, but at the same time i'm also consuming milk, to increase my hight. Because (dont know if true?) some one told me that ur body growth stops at about the age of 18? & so at the momment in more concern about my hight than my weight.
But on the other hand, in just about 2 weaks i'm going to start my first day at colage, & i need to lose fat... fast & quick.... so that i dont get mocked by my seniors....
So what do you think? should i concentrate more on my weight first or on my hight? and apply to why you chose it? plus how am to do that?

I am making hamburgers for ourtwo kids and company with kids and my wife says by adding 1 tablespoon of fresh dill and 1 tablespoon of fresh basil i have ruined the burgers for the kids and no one will eat. I go to resolve the problem by washing the meat and rinsing the spices off and she yells at me and says I am wasting eggs. Please help me to resolve this I dont want to argue and it seems there is nothing i can do to make her happy with the results.

I'm wondering if I am smart or stupid. Here is the situation. It usually takes me twice or three times as long to learn something, in comparison to my peers, but when I finally understands the concept and structure of the problem, I am able to manipulate what I've learn and do it much faster and better then most of my peers who have undergo the same learning process. For example, if I were learning a computer program, the instructor would have to explain it and I would have to read the material twice or three times before true understanding. But after that, I begin to figure out loopholes or manipulate the program to do the task much faster and better than what was expected of me. Also, I am able to understand concepts or structures, no matter how complex it is, but it will take me again, twice or three times as long to understand it. It is very easy for me to get into deep concentration, somewhat trace-like, for hours without eating or sleeping just to understand and solve a problem.

my husband read my journal of personal thoughts, and turned into a really mean person towards me. i am more hurt that he read my thoughts of what i was feeling at "that moment" it had not meaning to it, it is my way of venting without arguing, am i wrong for that? he used the five months that "things have not felt right" to try and hate me. not to mention joining dating sites too. i am just hurt what should i do, i wonder if my marriage is over although i am making a effort to forgive, and he says its forgotten,but how, when he made me feel like sh*^ for motnhs,?

It costs £20,000 per prisoner per year, which we the taxpayer pay.
Now for 'minor offences' like theft, or bullying (ABH, GBH), anti-social behaviour and the like why not try other methods.
Possible answers- the stocks in the town square ( a humiliating act in which the offender lies exposed to the wrath of the public in the confines of wooden lock over the head and the hands)
Branding with a hot iron, etc

Showing the power of mass contempt for their breaches of social law, the offenders would realise this powerful deterrent instead of a soft society which can be manipulated according to their childish instincts.
..Maybe not so much 'ducking' and hanging!

OK, as a silly gift, I got my wife a Superman cookie (she LOVES Superman.) I thought that she would eat it, but says that she wants to keep it. (I know, I know, don't get me started.)

How do I preserve this cookie? Can I shellac it or something? The cookie has the consitancy of an animal cracker with a frosting design.
