I weight about 88kg, hight 160's, age 18 (August)!
I've just started to increase my food portions, but at the same time i'm also consuming milk, to increase my hight. Because (dont know if true?) some one told me that ur body growth stops at about the age of 18? & so at the momment in more concern about my hight than my weight.
But on the other hand, in just about 2 weaks i'm going to start my first day at colage, & i need to lose fat... fast & quick.... so that i dont get mocked by my seniors....
So what do you think? should i concentrate more on my weight first or on my hight? and apply to why you chose it? plus how am to do that?

Hehe there is no way you are going to significantly get taller. True your body doesn't fully stop growing until about 18 but anything after about 16 is pretty much unoticable. Losing fat fast and quick. Probably the number one dream of most Americans. You can't. Exercise...get a good weight training program...and eat sensible balanced meals and treats in moderation. Also college isn't high school. I don't think you will be getting mocked by "seniors". Concentrate on changing your lifestyle to get a better body. Do cardio exercise 5 days a week, weight train 3 or 4 days a week. Eat healthy. Simple as that. The weight will come off, some nice looking muscles will show through, and you will be an all round healthier, happier person.

You cannot increase height. It s all genetic. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.

Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Plus click on "Pure Water" to make sure the water you drink doesn't hurt you. Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

ok, you can't work on gaining height. (not hight) If you ate well and you lived a healthly lifestyle in your childhood and early teen years then you probably grew according to that. But most people stop growing around 16 or 17. You're most likely done. Weight is a different issue. Eat well (heathly), and excersise. If you don't have any underlying health conditions, that should be enough to help you lose any necessary weight.

so you're going to college and you think you can increase your height.....hmmm (that's increasing height is a new one to me).

To lose weight you need to take in less calories and wear off what calories you have. I suggest you walk a mile a day for a few days and do it in cool weather (in the morning before the sun gets hot), pace yourself in this hot weather, drink water (no soft drinks or gatorade) and one meal a day the size of your fist. If this works for you (and it should), then take a little rest and do it for 3 more days.

Got to laugh at littlechrismary's answer! lol

To lose fat, manage your intake of fats and do aerobic exercises at a moderate (this means jogging or brisk walking. You shouldn't have to be panting) rate for 30-45 minutes daily.

Your ultimate height is tied to your genetics. A good diet will help you get to the height you were meant to have.

To loose weight focus on excercise and diet. But dont excercise to much because that can sometimes stunt your growth if your still growing. And to make the illusion of being taller wear straight fitted clothing. Especially clothes with stripe going up and down, avoid horizontal lines. Hope that does it!!

Calm down - there's nothing you can take to make you taller - just forget about that - who ever said consuming milk will make you taller doesn't know what their talking about - milk is good for your BONES and has alot of Vitamin D BUT IT DOESN'T MAKE YOU GROW TALLER. Just eat healthy & don't eat the junk food, drink lots of water - and don't worry about what other people say. People say things to make themselves feel better - just worry about you. Good luck in College.

There is a movie called Gataca where they give the guy a height operation by grafting part of the legs of another guy onto his so he is 6" taller. Try to find someone who will try that.
