but if they look after the kids they say how hard and tiring it is but when we do it it's easy why are women expected top do a 24 hour job day in day out but men think when they clock off thats their day done how about helping us out for a while so we can both relax
sorry i'm ranting but men so annoy me edpecially mine who just said "i've been at work all day" no you went at 8 am and came back at 2pm now help get the kids ready for bed

I had just gotten out of the shower and still drying off when my 3 yr old burst into the room crying about something that one of his brother's had done. All of the sudden he stopped and looked at me, and asked:
"Mommy, what happened to your wee-wee"
" Nothing, why?" trying to hurry up and get dressed.

Well, what happened to your tail? I have one and Daddy, and ...

I laughed so hard, it took me about 20 minutes before I could get dressed.

I hear the term "walking on eggshells" a lot, but I seem to remember hearing "walking on eggs" used a lot in the past. The latter makes more sense to me, as it connotes you have to tiptoe around carefully. There is no corresponding need to tiptoe around on egg shells, as they are already broken.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

So I'm in my yard fixing a spinkler, and this really cute little turtle just comes strolling up out of nowhere. (I'm amazed he made it given how many roads and dogs are around my house.) I got on the Internet, identified the species and got some info, gave him a shallow pan of water that he can crawl out of, and some wild blackberries nearby. He drank a lot of water, and ate some berries, but now he's settled in under a small bush and hasn't moved for 3 days. I enclosed a large planted area for his protection--it gets some sun, plenty of shade, has moist soil, and sprinklers come on 5 min. everyday. He's alive and alert, but he's just staying in that one corner. Is he OK? Is this normal behavior?

I'm doing a summer show. The last perfomance is Sunday. Then there is the cast party. The guy I am stating to like will be there since he is in the cast and I think he is into me (ok, well he gets jealous of guys I like or talkt o or flirt with, smiles and higs me sometimes, other times ignores me to play those stupid head games....) and I want to know...should I try to get with him at the party? You know, alone, a little kiss...to let him know before the play is officially over?
