Why not accept you parents had sex and your purpose will be to havge sex and make more humans... and along the way make your self useful in some way to the herd ie be a doctor, mountain rescue or entertainer etc.


And when you die the brain waves cease, you become mat and rot...


And as for where did the universe come from... why not wait several thousand years till we can make a telescope 3 galaxies wide...

ie even in sci fy its rare to see any go intergalactic.


Most are in a galaxy as the distance is unbelievable... we are insignificant... why not accept it.


And as for the odds of a table coming together rubbish needing a deisnger...


organic matter adapts, dead wood or metal does not.

The universe is finite, very big but still finite with only 7 known forces and 120+ elements, all composed of the same stuff just with more neutrons and electrons then the others. Is there a point where psychics will be like okay we have found everything there is. Like say 40 years after the unified field theroy, will physics have found verythin that needs to be explained. will new formulas need to be developed.

I am sure there will need to be refinement of current formulas to make them quicker to compute but will NEW fields come into existence that need totally new and unknown laws to work with. I think there is a point, maybe 200 years from now when we will have perfected 99.9% of the laws of the universe. what happens after that?

I broke up with my live-in boyfriend about 5 weeks ago because he was being emotionally abusive towards me, although I'm sure he would never admit to it. I had to stop taking his calls because of it and we have had minimal contact by email since then except mostly to try to make arrangements for him to come and get the rest of his thing. I have given him opportunities to get his things but he has been dragging his feet, saying he won't worry about his things right now because it seems too difficult to figure out. I left it at that and have not had any contact with him now for almost 2 weeks. For me the relationship is over and I would never consider getting back with him or even trying to be friends unless he has the desire to change and were willing to get some sort of counseling. Today is his birthday and I guess you could say I am torn as to whether I should wish him a happy birthday or just let it go.
