I think your question is what is the point of drinking alchol. If this is the question; the answer is drinking alchol is not good in general however in some cases drinking good quality of alchol in controlled manners will help in many ways to improve the health and will give a cheerful feeling.

After a 70hour work week. and you have another one coming up you need sometimes something to relax you. And there is nothing better than a glass of whine or a bottle of beer with some comfort food to and then a hot bath to help your body relax.

It's just how some people blow off steam too. As long as it doesnt become a crutch you are okay. but a glass or two a week isnt going to make you dependent.

Now to answer your question with a question. Why do somepeople feel that they have the need, or better yet the right to question why others do certain things. If it doesnt affect you what do you care?

Niecy,
There is no point, however, there are several reasons. Many people consume alcohol to self-medicate themselves for depression. Not really a good idea, but it does provide a small measure of relief, if it doesn't lead to addiction. On the other hand, there is solid scientific evidence which indicates that the daily consumption of one or two glasses of RED wine, can greatly enhance our health. It is called the "French Paradox", because the French eat a diet high in fat, yet suffer far less heart disease than other cultures. It turns out to be the wine they drink with virtually every meal. Only works with red wine, though, and too much is, as you might guess, bad for you.

Go to your local bar tonight and drink........
8 X Bottles Budweiser
4 X Tequila
and 4 X Double Jack Daniels and Coke
Go Home, look in the mirror and ask yourself the same question.
If you can't answer it give up drinking.

I've always heard that anything you do while you are drinking is something that you subconsciously want to do, but you just don't have to courage to do it. Drinking is actually pointless, and it isn't good for you. Alcohol causes problems. It DOES NOT fix them. Many people think that alcohol can fix their problems, but indeed... it only hinders them and prolongs them. I feel alcohol is pointless and senseless.

Alcohol has some very good affects like relaxation, giddyness, lowered inhabitions and making us feel better. With continues consuption these benefits start to fade and what we are left with is addiction.

To damage your liver, kidneys and other internal organs, plus destroy a few brain cells to boot. Lots of fun, if you're a fool.

alcohol makes you feel relaxed, many people enjoy a drink or two to unwind. excessive drinking makes you drunk (obviously) and your sense of reality changes. hence people think they can dance (lol) or get into trouble. a glass of red wine a day has been proven to be beneficial to health.
