I've been woefully unemployed for the past several months (yes, living with my folks) after getting terminated from my job for misconduct (I was under a lot of pressure and came off as rude to a few customers however, my boss wasn't mad at me tho).
I have a B.A. in history and I'm trying to decide what to do with grad school (either history or library science; I want to be a history lecturer at a community college but my career counselor advised me to research everything first).
Now, while I'm doing this, I need a job but I don't want to work in fast food (that was my last job). I need something that will pay for my medical insurance and I want to get a job without being overqualified (someone told me that "overqualified" is a stupid idea made up by HR depts. for job seekers with better qualifications than the interviewer; you're either qualified or not).
Right now, money is tight and I really need a job at the moment. Suggestions are welcome.
