There's an old saying, "Don't take any wooden nickels". Where did it come from. What did it mean? and Now, seems every tourist site, and small town carnvals all have these wooden nickels you can bhuy for about a dollar. Where, when, and why did this all start?

everyone wants to learn something on the internet. things that need hands-on training like landscaping, nursing, lawyer ect. use to be that you go to school to learn these things. most the people who take these online course get cheated out of their money anyways. come on now..., if you were an employer would you hire someone who sat at a computer all day and watched videos on ladscaping? i think not, you'd want the guy who got his hands dirty and actually put in some hours. same goes for any other carrer. why are people so lazy?

well cooked late last night and i put the leftover food in containers,but it was still hot so i left it out of the fridge..it was pasta and a sauce with no meat or cheese...its like cold in my house(air is on).I forgot about it,the food was out for about 7hrs.Is the food still good?

Most of my life I have been raised by Mental health programs. To study the mind of Mental illness from the source itself, like take sexual abuse .patients are the key , since it is us, who has the insight to a truth that can be made practical.. A victim can show us how, something they do every day and it cant be found no where in best of all text books. The victims are the unheard, the unanswered they can maniefiest themselves into something more than a victim, they have the answers inside, its just a matter of collaberating. It should have been the ones who were victimized themselves in the field or area that is Psychology, I believe it would be called something else and have more credit ability. For every rape , for every beating, there is an inner world that the quacks only see in patterns and what they believe fit a this and that box of behavior,

Honestly, a lot of people say they don't believe in a female president and they have no plausible reason. They say "Oh, she has PMS." First off, I feel sorry for the female that lets horomones control her.

In history there have been many female rulers in almost all countries except the U.S., excluding Hawaii. Last time I checked, when the females did reign she didn't blow the world up on a bad "PMS day" or with her "radical emotions." So, why can't she run? Women are not controlled by their emotions and PMS. I'm tired of hearing that...

I have a daycare. Parents need to stop making excuses for their children. It does not help them. If a child does poorly in school the parent needs to listen to the teacher and not demand that their child be passed to the next grade when the child did not earn it. Stupidity and ignorance run hand in hand.

The reasons we were given for rushing into Iraq were terrorist connections, treatment of the citizens and the threat of Weapons of Mass Destruction... and a lot of this was just unproven intelligence. 1. What is the colloquial form of these questions?
- 何ですか？ (Nan desu ka?)
- どこへ行きますか？ (Doko he ikimasu ka?)
- 何をしますか？ (Nani o shimasu ka?)
- 好きですか？ (Suki desu ka?)

I only know these "polite forms", so I'd appreciate if you could convert them into colloquial forms.

2. I do know the following "colloquial question"...
何をしてるの？ (Nani o shiteru no?)
What does it mean?

3. Finally, if you want to tell someone that you love him...

How do the particles work around "suki da"?
For example, if you want to say "I (watashi) love Anohito"... what particle would you use with "watashi" and what particule would you use with "Anohito"? And how do you fit these around the compound verb "suki da"?
