Well the truth is there is no such a cure? Like 4 years I got it, I had like a pimple in my face near the head line, I saw it get bigger and developed like a rash, i really didnt knew what was it, but as the days went by my face started to hurt so badly I cried, so I went to the DR and he told me you got herpes zoster, I sais WHAT!!!!!! oh no my lord I have herpes how come????? He ask me if I have had chicken pox, I sad yes when I was 14 years( now im 33) he said the chicken pox leaves a virus in your nerves. This virus stays asleep. Not everyone gets the zoster thing , but after a couple of years it can wake up by stress, weak inmune sistem, sickness & age . Its rarelly that this episodes happen twice. (that what my doc said) I hope I never get an episode again it hurts a lot and the recuperation is not to fast, after the rash goes out you may feel the hurt till a couple of days or weeks more. So please visit a doctor very fast , so they can prescribe you a medicine I dont remember which one they gave me but it worked, also you can put ice in the area so it helps with the pain. also take vitamin c and maybe he will recommend other vitamins. Hope you feel better.

I got identified with herpes virus (type 2) about 5 yrs ago, whilst I was still attending college and had a foolish one-night stand. I know lots of young women say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a massive mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/eiwj6 everything got better.
Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my system in less than 21 days, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This method gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience true love again. Now I hope that I can help others too by sharing this story.

If you want a 100% cure well sorry. Shingles(herpeszostes) just lie herpes simples(mouth sores) can ponly be treated symptomaticly .Meaning when the first sight or sign of outbreak is felt there are many new meds to quicken the outbreak, and alleviate the pain. You see they are all viral induced. And stressors, poor nutrition, etc can bring them on.. Many new drugs if taken as soon as diagnosed;the earlier the better some say will lenghthen the onset of each outbreak. Please kep in mind they are contagious. So be kind to those around you

There is only a 4% chance that shingles will happen again. Usually the doctor will prescribe Valtrex. The elderly are more prone to get complications from shingles, but usually there is no long term effects

I am absolutely terrified and I feel so alone. I just found out last week that I tested positive for hsv1 and 2. I have been with the same man for the past 10 years and within the last year found out that he has cheated on me with numerous women. I am so scared that I can give it to my children by kissing them and them eating with me...I feel like my whole life has changed. And even though the nurses, my doctor, and websites say that a lot of people have it I still feel like I am by myself. My self esteem has dropped and I feel like I have been used up. But now, My life is very happy.

If you have shingles, you can do little except apply calamine lotion to soothe the rash and take an analgesic such as aspirin to ease the pain. You should see your physician, however, particulary if your face is affected. The physician may prescribe a more effective analgesic. In addition, you will need professional advice on how to protect your eyes.

Yes, there are meds for it, but I'm not sure that there is a cure for it. It can come back.
