Part II-My husband barely ever says no to his parents. It also seems like they are trying to "get in my head" as if they want control of me too! It's like they call all the shots (Where we go, what we should eat, and seemingly, how we should feel)! I can't help but feel like we can't truly have a holiday without them trying to dictate where we should go. They're always planning things for us to attend with them. When we invite them...they make excuses, unless my husband invites them to celebrate his accomplishments. That is good, but every time we go somewhere with them, it always seems like they have set me up for a bad time. I have told him not to invite them unless I'm going out, but he still tries to get me to go places with them. I never enjoy myself. I mostly don't like being around them because it seems like they "drop little hints" like they think I'm not cultured, or like they think I can't tell they are talking about me. They do it right in front of me!

People keep babbling about the bible, atheism vs christians, etc...
Why can't we realize that there's no harm in having different religions as long as we guide ourselves with the Scientific Method to act in our daily lives?
I cannot understand religious people that choose to ignore real-life facts! Why do you do this? Are you so blinded by your beliefs that you cannot see reality?
I'm a humanist and an agnostic, but the idiocy displayed by most of the so called "christians" on this site (fundamentalists) is increasingly turning me more and more into an atheist....
It's not wrong to have a religion, but it is wrong when that religion begins to cloud your judgement and grip on reality!
If we all used the scientific method in our daily lives, and reached our own conclusions without being brainwashed by the others, this world would be a much better place!

I am thinking about doing a study here in Houston to have botox injections done to help my migraines. Its not the first time they have done the study, so i won't be the first guinea pig, but im still a little scared. Has anyone had it done? Any doctors or nurses out there with thoughts about it? anyone see that the box to the right is shaded. Then each section has little triangles in each 8 section? If you count up each little triangles in each section it would be 8 numbers. I don't know about the paper though. Any thoughts?

I was dating this girl for a short time when I started assuming and reading into things about her. I would judge and insult her as well. We weren't serious or exclusive for we ahd only been dating for two weeks or so. She is very leary of me and thinks that I will just judge her, assume or read into things without asking her what the deal is. She doesn't have trust in me. I became jealous of her talking with others since we weren't exclusive. She has every right to talk to other guys since we had only started dating and aren't serious. My question is: How can I get her back? I understand everything now. I understand my role and that we need our space, and that we CAN talk to others. I accept everything as is, but how do I let her see that and that I won't question things about her actions or grill her? She has been awesome for me and I would like to get her back. She made me laugh all of the time and I miss our chemistry. I need to instill trust and faith with her.

Take a glass. Put a couple of ice cubes in it (ice caps). Fill it with water to the brim (the sea). When the ice melts, you will find that the water level hasn't risen. Why? Well, why does ice float? There is air in it. When the ice melts, the air is realesed. Making room for the ice to expand without making the water level rise. My idea my be wrong, but, it might not.

My garden is mess!!!
I want to dig over all the soil and get rid of those nasty weeds,but it has'nt rained down here for 10 days and the ground is very dry.
Would it be an idea to hire a rotivator or a power digger to do the hard work???
