You know what, I actually am giving this serious consideration, and yes, if there were a God, it would be like when an artist takes clay and makes a man, and then God did breath into the "adam" life.

thats in Genesis, dont take this from people, you did come up with a good thought, its poetic,

the point for you and me isnt to read the book and go oh heh thats awesome god made me that way,

its to be inspired by it, in the way you just were, the thought that God in that story did something that a human can't do,

until the 20th century medicine came along and we had the clear 50volt machine thingy,

but heh, in 1899 you the man

Hi!

"carved" is not the right word to use! Let's stay with the word "created".

If one believes in God one is to believe that He is able to create man out of dust.

After all, is it not a fact that the body of a dead man decomposes easily into the ground, unless treated with chemical preservatives?

This makes us believe that the bible contains the true Word of God!

About the David-Michaelangelo question: I do not understand your question.

Compare the mineral components of a human with what can be found in the elements of the earth and you will find that all can be found and in great supply. For instance, one main component of humans is carbon. Carbon can be found almost everywhere.

In answer to your other question, no. Adam had a different mineral composite than David.

Creationists believe that adam was formed from mud by God in his image. I guess you could compare it to Michaelangelo.

God created Adam from dust. This explains that non-living matter has the many of the compounds found in living matter. YET, it can't build itself...it needs something))GOD!!!

Dust. If man came from dust, why are there still dustbunnies?
