If its a CD-R then you cannot delete or add more songs onto it once you burned it because it is good for only 1 burn.
However, a CD-RW will allow you to re-write on it at least 1000 times.
The problem is, CD-RW will not play in most CD players. It is used mostly as a data backup CD. CD-Rs play in 99% of the CD players out there, CD-RW is more like 20%.

if its a CD-R then you can't. If its a CD-RW the best you can do is clear the tracks by deleting them, but you will still see the burn marks on your disk.

Buy a CD-RW.
With CD-RW's, you can overwrite the songs that are in there already, but you can't do that with CD-R's.

you can delete the files you've burned only if you hadn't filalize the cd + the space won't be recovered.
