Well on the news tonight - he was quoted as saying he wants to "restore christian values...especially regarding abortion and homosexuality" Well I thought that christians supported a god who 'loves everyone' hmmm well then isn't the pope contradicting the bible in this case...?

As a Scientologist and an Athiest...I really dont like the continual contradiction that is christianity and those who defend it....its insane...Im gay as well.

Alternative to Big Bang?

How is this compare to the Big Bang?
Are there similar thories like this?

The universe is endless but a lot less dense then what we see.

Gravity create dense places in the universe that creates the galaxies we see.

The redshift is from the affect of gravity on space (bending the space that streach tje distences) and/or the higher densety of matter and energy make light travel slower (like it travel slower in air).

The background radiation is from the "outer" universe and/or the process of matter and energy entering from the "outer" universe.

In the end we will get most (or all) matter in a black hole that will return its energy by Hawkigns radiation and the process will created again someplace else.

Hi, where can I buy the VHS/DVD of 'THE MIDWIFE'S TALE' USA(1995) Dir: Megan Siler, star:Stacey Havene please?

'THE MIDWIFE'S TALE' has also been called "The Princess Bride for alternative families," (but less commonly). It is set in medieval times and and also stars Gayle Cohen and Anthony Abate.

It is approx 75 - 90 mins long.

Would you be able to identify where I could actually "BUY" this movie (preferably on dvd) and the prices (including UK shipping, if poss) as oppossed to jONLY letting me know sites that mention / review the movie.

I would be very grateful for all you can do.

Where can I get a pure breed male black smooth coat Chow Chow puppy near southern Minnesota?

I have been looking for a pure breed black smooth coat Chow Chow puppy for quite a while now with no luck. This dog MUST be a black pure breed male only. I want one that is not fixed because I plan to breed him someday.
I live in southern Minnesota and would like to find one soon. I love this breed of dogs very much and I would supply him with a very loving home! I would like to find out how much a pure breed Chow dog normally costs as well.

Is there a a group in existence which will help me to identify some pottery marks?

I get really frustrated finding a nice piece of pottery and not being able to tell who made it. I try books and web sites but there are just so many of them it would be really hard to know them all!
It would be great to find a UK site where photos of marks and pots could be posted for identification
