If you built a perfectly level jetty, starting at the shore and going out to sea, presumably its end would get higher and higher above sea level the longer the jetty was. Assuming the Earth is uniformaly spherical, (which it is not), how high above sea level would the end of the jetty be if the jetty was, say, 50 miles long? Or, how long would the jetty have to be for the end to be 1,000 feet above sea level?

I have a 300L air tank w a 2 cyclinder air comp & electric motor.
I have no idea when the oil was last changed on the compressor and I'm in a dusty environment.
Should I replace the existing oil w/motor oil (thats all I have) or would I be better off leaving it be?

When a person dies they either go to heaven or hell,but on the second coming it is said that the dead in Christ shall rise. My question is The people that died will they have to face judgement or is it just those who are still living? Because im thinking if the soul is in heaven you dont need to be judge because you know you get eternal life or do you get judge when you die? Can someone explain.

While growing up, has your mother ever made you wear your brother or sisters underwear because the washing machine was broken or she just did`nt have time to wash cloths? we had been in a healthy relationship for a year and very much in love. the last month i was playing games kept dumping him and hurting him because of my hangups. now he is sayign he will not get back with me at this moment in time and we need time and space. but he keeps phoning me. i worry that he just wnats to be friends he says he loves and cares for me but is this just to make me feel better? i was such a cow for a month and he said that this is the reason that he needs to find the real me who he once loved and adored but my worry is how long will this go on for. he said he knows he risks losing me and he needs to make a decision.. but he also keeps saying ;'i dont know anymore' have i confised him too much will this ever work? i have apologised and am giving him space but he phones and acts too friendly.is he just too comfortable with this. i want him back and fear there is no hope. he said we need time to fond the good things again .. he could be blagging though . wat do i do
