it's funny how a christian can take the bible as pure truth and an inspiration from god, yet at the same time, will 'write-off' the contradictions because the bible was written by man, and by different points of view and it is generally agreed that the bible is not translated accurately.

how can you follow a book that has been so hacked-up over the centuries with translations and different meanings of words and mistakes 'made by men'?

a few contradictions

2 Kings 8:26 says "Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign..."
2 Chronicles 22:2 says "Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign..."


2 Samuel 6:23 says "Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death"
2 Samuel 21:8 says "But the king took...the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul"

We have the tax exempt forms and we are not looking for handouts just discounts of any kind. We are expanding due to the services needed by families in AZ. Any suggestions or advice on somewhere to go would be great. Ikea of Tempe I have tried and will never go back, due to the customer service I have received the past few days. I have tried nearly every antidepressant there is over the course of 7 years. When I first tried them they did wonders for my depression and anxiety. But the problem was that they all had side effects that were hard to live with. So I went from medication to medication with the hope of finding one that was effective AND had mild side effects. When I finally realized that no such antidepressant exists, I quit taking them. Then, about 8 months later, I realized that life was unbearable with my anxiety disorders and depression, and so I decided to go back to an antidepressant and just deal with the side effects. But, guess what? When I went back on Paxil (and loaded it in my system for 6 weeks) the effects were not even close to before! And this has happened with ALL antidepressants I've tried since!!! What happened? I can understand becoming immune or resistant to one medication, or even one whole class of medications (e.g., SSRI's), but ALL antidepressants? How can this be possible?!!

I work for an ad agency that's run by a pair(yeah, they r married) of goons. The agency is well, going to the dogs. I've been here for a year and made a lot of things happen. Cheques for one. So, I'm..what you would call a star performer. Now, over 10 people have left in the past few months..and I want to too. B'coz I've found myself a job in a great place, with a great new boss. I'll have to give 1 month's notice but thanks to my present company's policy (or the lack of it) I won't get paid for that month! So, if I'm not going to get paid, I'd obviously rather tae a holiday than work, right? Now, my present boss pampers me a great deal and would emotionally blackmail me into anything. Help! How do I give some great excuses to stop working and NOT have to give notice?

ok, I know the question comes a bit late... but we have had time to think...

What do ya'all think about Chef leaving South Park?? why? I mean, ya, ok, I understand, he apparently found Scientology. But my question is this... Issac Hayes never had an issue with any racial slurs, or any of the controversial s*it that South Park puts out. South Park has been crossing the lines since DAY ONE! why is it that Issac got this idea in his head NOW??? I personally think, we don't need him to make and continue South Park. It will be different indeed but we don't HAVE TO have him...

So, my question is why? why did he all of a sudden decide that he was against the show? does scientology do that to people? it's a little like the episode "The Return Of Chef"... brainwashing! why was it ok day one? but years later, not ok?
