We have the tax exempt forms and we are not looking for handouts just discounts of any kind. We are expanding due to the services needed by families in AZ. Any suggestions or advice on somewhere to go would be great. Ikea of Tempe I have tried and will never go back, due to the customer service I have received the past few days. The company I work for will help anyone and we are proud of what we do! Provideing support and assistance to families with behaviorally challenged children.

Have you tried discussing this with Office Depot or Office Max to see if they would give you a discount since you are a non-profit? All they can do is say no. Check at thrift shops or places like Salvation Army stores.

If you receive federal funding, you can go to The General Services Administration and get everythng you need cheap. Also, I would check with all of the thrift stores until you find one that has what you need and are willing to give you a discount. Target store managers have the authorty to make donations of up to $50,000 for local charites. You might want to consider writing a proposal and getting a grant just for furniture and furnishings. Here's a link for grant sources that you might find useful http://www.intergate.com/~rclowney/g739.htm for more help, go to the Foundation Center and search through their database http://fdncenter.org/

Good Luck!

Comfort: It is needless to say that comfort is of paramount importance in order to be able to work efficiently. Most offices require employees to work long hours and, as a result, it is important that the office seating and tables are comfortable to maximize employee deliveries. Choose from a wide variety of plush and comfortable office chairs and conference chair designs, but try and select a common design for the entire work force. This gives a look of uniformity and will not create a feeling of disparity among employees.
