Lee is often glorified, while Grant is called a butcher. What about Vicksburg? And wasn't Lee a butcher at Malvern Hill? Plus, Grant's story seems to be quintessentially American: he worked hard as a soldier to overcome his failures as a businessman. Yet no one seems to care for Gen. Grant.

If you do, I have some oceanfront property in Arizona for sale!!! LOL Sweetie, not to bash you, BUT just because you don't spend a LOT of money on a product, doesn't mean it's no good (DUH) I used to work in cosemetics (Lancome) for a major dept store. The fact is, 99.9% of the time you're gettin the EXACT same ingredients as a drug store version. (Loreal IS Lancome anyway, Sweetie!) In the dept store, you're paying for the fancy packaging, sheek magazine advertising, sales girl commission, "gifts with purchase", educating "schools" for the cosmetologists, expensive store rent, etc, etc. Don't be so naieve! How about actually COMPARING the ingredients of your precious department store versions to the drug store version. I bet you own everything that carries a name brand---AND you tell everyone you do, too!

Seriously...The Aviator sucks...Gangs of New York...huge sucks! Since Titanic (cheese but good), and The Beach, Leo seems to be unable to make good role choices. Ok, Catch me if You Can, was nice, but it wasn't a great success as expected, what's going on? He is such a good actor, and he seems to be so carefull in chosing his roles, but ends up making bad choices...What do u think??

We always hear that "The rich get richer and the poor get poorer"

Bill Gates being rich doesn't hurt anyone that's poor. The gap between them increases (like when Bill Gates is worth 100 Billion), but that doesn't hurt the poor.

It seems like the poor (we'll say poorest 10%) in America today have 2 bedrooms, cable tv, and enough to get by on. 100 years ago the poor might have had an entire family living in a small room. 200 years ago they very well may have starved to death.

I'd much rather be poor in America today than 100 or 200 years ago.

Is there something I'm missing???

I would like to seek help from other countries to help the people of the Philippines. How can I go about setting up a charity so I can help bring food and money to the needy people of the Philippines? If you look at our situation in the Philippines,you will see that most of us do not have a decent house(we live in Nipa Huts.a house made of bamboo.) We suffer from power outages several times a day.People are starving here because of lack of food and lack of jobs. I know its just not us that need help but other countries like China, Japan too. I just want to know how i can get help for my country.

Any help will be appreciated.
