The very first game I went to when I was a kid in Old Comisky was a double-header in 1960 or 1961. I remember the White Sox killing the Red Sox in both games. I think they scored about 27 runs, probably 5 homers, in the second game. I was sitting right next to Bill Veeck's exploding scoreboard & it scared the hell out of me; I was only 9 or 10 yrs. old!! Hope you can refresh my memory. Thanks.

I've been appointed as Praise and Worship Leader at a church I have recently joined. I've only been there 5 months and of course there are people who dont respect me, just because I'm young and new in ministry. Right now we are going through transition to a new,bigger church building and in our temporary place now, I havent been asked to lead since we left our old building. I am a bit confused, i try not to get fleshy, but it hurts. This is what i am called to do.I know I am still a leader, but i really feel like I've been thrown to the back burner.has anyone experienced this? I feel so alone. It hurts, like someone is stifling my gifts and callings. How do I get past this and strengthen myself in the transition?(Born Again believers and/or Minsters only pls)

The vinyl siding on my house suffered damage from a wind and hail storm. My homeowners insurance company is not willing to replace the siding but have it "patched" by a company called Dr. Vinyl. Does anyone have any information on this or is anyone aware of any problems that have come up with this process? Have Dr. Vinyl's customers been satisfied with the repair?

I just found out that Doubleday publishers and editors added and changed verses in the Da Vinci Code and now I am doubting that this book reveals the true divinity of God written through the hands of Dan Brown?

How can it be God's word if many different people have changed it?

Why did I choose them? Because they believe the Bible and don't cherry pick what they want to accept.
